Position on Life and Abortion

I proudly stand as a pro-life advocate. I believe that life begins at conception and must be protected from that moment forward. Abortion is not a form of healthcare or a casual choice—it is the ending of a human life, and as such, it should be prohibited in all but the most exceptional circumstances.

As a candidate for Congress representing Mississippi’s values and families, I proudly stand as a pro-life advocate. I believe that life begins at conception and must be protected from that moment forward. Abortion is not a form of healthcare or a casual choice—it is the ending of a human life, and as such, it should be prohibited in all but the most exceptional circumstances.

That said, I recognize that there are rare and tragic situations where exceptions must be made to safeguard the health and well-being of the mother or in cases of rape or incest. These exceptions reflect a compassionate approach rooted in empathy for victims and a commitment to preserving life where possible. My position is not about judgment but about affirming the sanctity of life while acknowledging the complexities of human suffering.

Looking ahead, I am optimistic that advancements in medical technology, contraception, and societal support systems will render the abortion debate largely moot within the next 20 to 30 years. Innovations like non-invasive prenatal care, improved adoption processes, and better access to family planning resources will empower women and families to choose life without the pressures that too often lead to difficult decisions today. As your representative, I will support policies that invest in forward-thinking solutions, such as expanding maternal health care, promoting education on reproductive health, and strengthening community resources for expectant mothers.

In Congress, I will fight to uphold pro-life principles at the federal level while respecting states’ rights, as affirmed by the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade. Mississippi has led the way in protecting the unborn, and I am committed to ensuring our nation’s laws reflect the dignity of every human life—from conception to natural end. Together, we can build a future where life is cherished, supported, and celebrated.
